Wake Forest Syposium on Health Reform

Mark Hall and I organized a Symposium on Health Reform at Wake Forest (the undergraduate campus) and at the Wake Forest School of Medicine in October of 2009. Or first speaker gave an interesting viewpoint on the many issues of health reform as seen by M.D.'s. Here are the slides from that symposium that were presented by Bob Doherty, the Senior Vice President for Governmental Affairs and Public Policy, of the American College of Physicians.

The other speaker was Donna Boswell. Ms. Boswell practices health law privately at law firm in Connecticut, and is a member of the Wake Forest Board of Trustees. Ms. Boswell did not present the views of any special stakeholder group, but instead focused on the ways in which reform would impact the lives of actual people. Here are the slides from her talk.
